Azoth Edge (“Azoth Edge”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or engage with us, how and why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use this website.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Azoth Edge is an Adobe Experience Cloud consulting and training firm operating across India, Thailand and Europe. For the purposes of applicable data-protection law we are the “controller” of the personal data we collect through this website. You can reach us about any privacy matter — including to exercise your rights — at hello@azothedge.com.
2. The scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal data we collect through this website and through enquiries, newsletter sign-ups, training registrations and other interactions that begin here. It does not cover personal data processed under a separate consulting or training agreement, where the terms of that agreement and any associated data-processing agreement govern, nor third-party websites we link to, which have their own policies.
3. The information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Contact and enquiry data — your name, email address, company, role and the contents of any message when you complete our contact form or email us.
- Training and event data — details you provide when registering interest in a course or session.
- Communications — records of correspondence with us, including emails and notes from calls or meetings.
3.2 Information we collect automatically
- Usage data — privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tells us which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site. It is configured to anonymise visitors and does not track you across other websites.
- Technical data — standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, and referring pages, kept briefly for security and reliability.
- Cookies — a small number of cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookie Policy.
3.3 Information from third parties
We may receive limited information from service providers that help us run the site (for example spam-protection scores from our form-protection provider) and from publicly available professional sources where you have engaged with us in a business context.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (such as health, religion or political views) through this website, and we ask that you do not send such information to us through the contact form.
4. How and why we use your information
We use personal data only for clear, limited purposes, including to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide the information or services you ask for;
- arrange and deliver consulting and training engagements;
- send you updates or marketing you have asked to receive, and manage your preferences;
- operate, secure, maintain and improve the website and understand how it is used;
- keep records, manage our business, and meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations;
- detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security incidents and technical issues; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
5. The legal bases we rely on
Where data-protection law (such as the EU/UK GDPR, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or Thailand’s PDPA) applies, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:
- Consent — for example when you opt in to marketing or to non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Performance of a contract — to take steps at your request before entering into, or to perform, an agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, run and secure our website, and promote our services, provided your rights do not override those interests.
- Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with the law.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site and its contact form to work; analytics is privacy-friendly and self-hosted. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Full detail, and how to control them, is in our Cookie Policy.
7. Analytics
We use a self-hosted, privacy-respecting analytics tool to measure and improve the website. It is configured to anonymise visitor data, retains data for a limited period, and is not shared with advertising networks.
8. Marketing communications
We will only send you marketing where you have asked us to, or where we are otherwise permitted to do so. Every marketing email includes an easy way to unsubscribe, and you can change your preferences at any time by contacting us at hello@azothedge.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect messages we must send about a service you have requested.
9. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed and with appropriate safeguards:
- Service providers (processors) — trusted suppliers who help us operate, for example email delivery, hosting and spam protection, acting on our instructions under contract.
- Professional advisers — such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, where necessary.
- Legal and regulatory bodies — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or those of others.
- Business transfers — if our business is reorganised, merged or sold, in which case data may transfer to the successor under this policy.
10. International data transfers
We operate across India, Thailand and Europe, and some of our service providers are located in other countries. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we put appropriate safeguards in place — such as standard contractual clauses or transfers to countries recognised as providing adequate protection — so that your data remains protected.
11. How long we keep information
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. In practice this means we keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and our ongoing relationship, then delete or anonymise it. Server logs and analytics are kept for shorter, limited periods.
12. How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls, encryption in transit, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond promptly to any incident.
13. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- have your data erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to our processing, including direct marketing;
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing; and
- lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@azothedge.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. We may need to verify your identity first.
14. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
15. Third-party websites
Our site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing data with them.
16. Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The “last updated” date above shows the current version. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.
18. How to contact us or make a complaint
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, or if you wish to make a complaint, please contact us at hello@azothedge.com. We would welcome the chance to resolve any concern before you approach your data-protection authority, but you have the right to do so at any time.
