Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Azoth Edge uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, the categories we use, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. We deliberately keep our use of cookies to a minimum.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to make it work, to remember your preferences, or to understand how it is used. Similar technologies — such as local storage, pixels and software development kits — perform comparable functions. We refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.

2. Why we use them

We use cookies to keep the website and its contact form working securely, to remember basic preferences such as your language, and to measure and improve the site with privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use them to build advertising profiles of you.

3. The categories of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the website and its contact form to function, including spam protection and basic security. These cannot be switched off through our site.
  • Functional / preferences. Remember choices such as your selected language so the site behaves the way you expect.
  • Analytics / performance. Help us count visits and understand which pages are useful, using a privacy-friendly, self-hosted tool configured to anonymise visitors.

We do not use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies.

4. The cookies and technologies we use

The specific items below may appear on your device. Names and durations can vary as tools are updated:

  • Session / security cookie — strictly necessary; keeps your session and protects the contact form; typically expires when you close your browser or shortly after.
  • Preference cookie — functional; remembers settings such as language; typically lasts up to 12 months.
  • Analytics cookie — analytics; distinguishes visits for our self-hosted analytics; typically lasts up to 13 months.
  • Spam-protection technology — strictly necessary; our form-protection service (reCAPTCHA) runs on the contact page to block automated abuse.

5. Third-party services that may set cookies

  • Google reCAPTCHA — protects our contact form from spam and abuse, and is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms. It runs only on the contact page.
  • Self-hosted analytics — runs on our own infrastructure rather than a third-party advertising network, and is configured to respect your privacy.
  • Web fonts / content delivery — we may load fonts or assets that set basic technical cookies to deliver content reliably.

6. The legal basis and your consent

We set strictly necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website. Where required by law, we rely on your consent for non-essential cookies such as analytics, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by adjusting your browser settings as described below.

7. How to manage and disable cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The website will still work, although the contact form needs its strictly necessary cookies to submit. Most browsers explain how to manage cookies in their help pages:

  • Google Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Mozilla Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Microsoft Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not track you across other websites or serve targeted advertising, our analytics already respects your privacy. Where your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal, we aim to honour it for non-essential processing.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the law change. The “last updated” date above shows the current version.
